
| The HKS Cam Shafts are made as a direct replacement for the OEM camshafts, but with larger cam lobes, allowing more fuel and air into the cylinders. Due to the valves being open for a longer duration, the increased fuel and air allows for a better combustion and thus more power. |
| The HKS Con Rods are designed to replace the OEM con rods as the power output increases in the engine. One problem when increasing the power output of the engine, is that the engine internals, such as the pistons, crank and con rods, are subject to an increased load which they are not designed for, which can often cause fatal damage to the engine. HKS uprated con rods are designed to handle the extra power as they are forged from a high grade steel, which is able to handle significantly more power than stock con rods. |
| HKS metal cylinder head gaskets are constructed from multipe layers of steel to ensure proper head to block sealing under the most demanding high performance conditions. The special steel used in the construction of these gaskets is resistant to both heat and corrosion damage. All HKS head gaskets are coated with a special heat reristant fluorine rubber coating to provide the ultimate seal. HKS head gaskets are also designed to accommodate oversize pistons and alter compression ratios with a variety of available thicknesses. Our gaskets are not designed to cure sealing problems caused by head or block irregularities. |

The quality of these items is second to none, and are available with a selection of piston rings to fit any bore of cylinder. Often cylinders are bored for extra capacity or because they are scored, and HKS pistons allow you to find the perfect match for your engine requirements. |
| HKS and Blitz turbo chargers are available for many applications as either replacement units, or as bolt on packages for normally aspirated engines. There are a wide variety of turbos and turbine kits available, designed for different uses, from smaller roller bearing units to large single units, that can handle in excess of 1000 bhp. HKS also make a Super Charger unit for some applications, that can be bolted on to certain normally aspirated vehicles. Whereas HKS manufacture there own turbos, the Blitz units are manufactured in conjunction with the world famous KKK turbochargers. |
